This luxurious 1,580 sq ft unit could have been easily mistaken as part being part of a luxurious home; in reality, it is the private office of a well-heeled client. Divya Anthony, founder of Antone by D, was tasked to create an impressive space sited within a high-rise building, with all the amenities for the owner to entertain his most important business associates in style. This includes a spacious lounge where a glamorous St Louis chandelier floats above a plush set of designer furnishings selected from Royal Interiors.

The conference room of this private office too goes beyond its functional purpose, with a stunning mirrored ceiling. It is clad in a handsome mix of marble and dark wood, and fitted with off-white leather furnishings to provide all the creature comforts and more, while formal discussions take place.

The home is the heart of inspiration for this office conceptualised by Designworx Interior Consultant. The 1,000 sq ft workspace features an open-concept floor plan, which incorporates a richly textured living away with a neutral palette and a cosy material mix comprising leather, fabrics and rattan. The design team avoided using furnishings typically associated with commercial offices; instead, they went for the comfort and style of pieces from well-known home furnishing brands such as Muuto and Gamma Arredmenti.

“We reimagined this new meeting space as a home where she could meet her clients for cosy discussions and a private dining experience, or just chill out over drinks,” says Terri Tan, design director of Designworx Interior Consultant. “All the existing partitions and carpeting were removed, so we literally started with a blank canvas.” As her business partners move through the different spaces, they also get to know these personal aspects of the client’s life; her daughter’s painting, for example, takes pride of place in the dining area.

To create a comfortable and welcoming environment for its clients, Starlight Asset Management created a dream workspace that’s made to impress. The project is realised by international hospitality design giant GA Interiors as its principal designer, who collaborated with local firms Architology Interiors and PLD Lighting to realise this stylish venue.

A wide expanse of large windows merges the indoors and outdoors seamlessly and brings the Singapore skyline into the office, in a way that also recalls the light-filled interior aboard a luxurious superyacht. Curved furnishings temper the look of the spaces and underfoot, marble tiles are arranged in a non-directional pattern to soften the overall tableau.

Modern Asian influences make this striking private banking lounge and workspace like no other. Designed by homegrown firm Upstrs_, the 14,200 sq ft venue comprises a total of 16 rooms and is situated in the historic OCBC centre in the Central Business District. It features tastefully layered interiors that bring together both Eastern and Western elements.

Seven of these rooms take a cue from the panoramic views of the city skyline through the material mix of timber, stone, cast concrete, woven wicker and textiles. The other nine rooms that look out towards the Chinatown Heritage District offer a nod to the more traditional Eastern influences; these include the use of lattice screens, Chinese scrolls, gold-leafed lacquer, lanterns, calligraphy carvings, brocades, and an elegant array of porcelain and textiles.
