The Society of Interior Designers Singapore’s (SIDS) award recognises and honours 30 design trailblazers transforming the nation’s landscape
The Society of Interior Designers Singapore (SIDS) has announced the winners of its inaugural 30 Influential Spatial and Interior Designers Awards. Coinciding with the Society’s 30th anniversary and Singapore’s Diamond Jubilee, the accolade recognises designers whose work is shaping the city’s evolving identity as a Nation by Design.
Held at Mondrian Singapore Duxton, the awards ceremony brought together industry leaders, creatives and partners to celebrate a cohort of designers whose portfolios span luxury residences, destination hotels, restaurants and innovative retail spaces. The diversity of the winning projects reflects a maturing design culture, one that balances creativity with a sense of purpose.

Chairman of the awards Nithipong Subaneknan shares: “The exceptional talents celebrated tonight embodies the collective strength, creativity and professionalism of Singapore’s interior design community. We are proud to recognise these changemakers who are actively shaping a resilient future through spatial and interior design.”
This year’s nomination entries have been reviewed by a jury of leading figures in the built environment. The jury members praised the winners for creating interiors that “lifted the spirits with flourishes of creativity and clarity of purpose”.
The winners include established names such as Peter Tay of Peter Tay Studio and Gwen Tan of Studio If and Formwerkz, Tatler Homes Design Awards 2024 awardee Molina Hun of Sujonohun, and one of our Architects on the Rise 2024 winners Chio Wen Tian of Chio Architects.
As SIDS marks its 30th anniversary, the awards underscore the Society’s mission to foster a unified design community and to elevate professional standards through accreditation and advocacy.
