LI Restaurant’s Kuih Trio

Ang ku kuih with lotus, sweet potato seri muka and the unusual oat milk rava laddu provide a sweet ending to LI Restaurant's Merdeka menu, available only on August 31. Delicately crafted, the trio of kuih is served alongside other Malaysia-inspired dishes such as ox tongue rendang and salted egg kaya ice cream.

Mutiara Figs’ Merdeka Box

Local fig purveyor Mutiara Figs presents a Merdeka box overflowing with sweet treats that celebrate the fruit. Two mini carrot fig cakes topped with whipped cream and fresh fruit sit alongside a fluffy fig roll, which is sliced to reveal a beautiful cross section of sliced figs. A chocolate ganache tart completes the selection.
