Nobu Kuala Lumpur and Gēn Penang are set to join hands to present a four hands dinner omakase, showcasing a marriage beween Japanese and Malaysian flavours. Featuring local ingredients such as ginger flower and jackfruit, the eight-course menu celebrates Merdeka through a combination of nostalgic favourites and signature dishes from both restaurants. The exclusive menu will be available from August 29-31, 2022.

Displayed exquisitely, each course is paired with a familiar childhood story, bringing guests on a rich culinary journey celebrating local ingredients through reimagined classics. With a rendition of the original menu suited to younger children, the experience can be enjoyed by families. Sunway Resort celebrates Malaysia’s national dish with a buffet boasting a wide variety of nasi lemak, ranging from nasi lemak pandan and nasi lemak kuning royal to nasi lemak bunga telang. Select also from a range of slow-cooked sambal, finished with different types of crispy anchovies. Available between August 15 to September 16, The Resort Café will also be offering guests the chance to curate their own bespoke nasi lemak.
