Who: Off-White

What: A collaboration with Church’s

Why: Virgil Abloh may be known for making some of the hottest sneakers of the past decade, but he had also dipped his toes into designing formal footwear before his passing. The Off-White for Church’s collection is the result. The first shoe to be unveiled is the Burwood, a classic full brogue oxford from the British shoemaker, which Abloh remixed with new materials (black brushed calfskin replaces the shoe’s original brown suede upper) and graphical elements (“Special Events” is boldly printed in Helvetica along the side of the shoe). The shoes, which Pharrell has already given his stamp of approval, is offered to both men and women.

When: Available in Off-White stores, Church’s stores, and on church-footwear.com now

3. Sacai Remixes the Nike Blazer Low

Who: Sacai

What: A sneaker collaboration with Nike

Why: Japanese fashion label Sacai is not quite finished with its bestselling collaboration with Nike. Designer Chitose Abe has now set her sights on the classic Blazer Low silhouette, which she adds her twist to with the addition of stacked tongues, double lacing and exposed foam lines. Abe also used patent leather to give the sneakers a high fashion polish. Judging by the popularity of Sacai’s VaporWaffle styles, you can be sure to see these everywhere soon.

When: Available on nike.com/sg from March 31

What: A collaboration with Birkenstock

Why: It sounds like the unlikeliest of pairings: Manolo Blahnik, the legendary Spanish shoemaker behind the world's most exquisite heels, has partnered with Birkenstock on a capsule collection. Blahnik has put his glamorous touch on classic Birkenstock silhouettes like the Birkenstock Arizona—aka everyone's favourite dad sandals—as well as the Boston clogs. The designer spruced them up with crystal embellishments and luxe materials like velvet and leather, nodding to his Hangisi pumps of Sex and the City fame. Each limited-edition pair comes with a special polka-dot shoebox and dust bag as well. If you're looking for something both refined and relaxed, these shoes are the perfect fit.
