It’s been a colourful week in the Korean entertainment scene this week, particularly with Blackpink’s Rose and CL making history as the first female K-pop artists to attend the Met Gala 2021 and BTS officially receiving their certificates and diplomatic passports as Special Presidential Envoys.
Several stars are also making their comeback including aespa, Super Junior’s D&E and Jo Byeong-gyu. Meanwhile, we also get more news of casting confirmations and offers including the Hyeri and Yoo Seung-ho-led drama and Bae Suzy's upcoming drama.

1. Hyeri, Yoo Seung-ho, Byun Woo-seok and Kang Mi-na confirmed for new historical romance drama
Girl’s Day Hyeri is booked this year as she stars in another drama after My Roommate is a Gumiho. She will be one of the main leads for the saeguk (historical) drama, Thinking of the Moon, When the Flowers Bloom opposite Yoo Seung-ho.
Now, the rest of the main cast has been announced which includes Byun Woo-seok from Record of Youth and Kang Mi-na from Hotel Del Luna and a member of the girl group, Gugudan.
The story will take place during the Joseon era when there were strict prohibition laws. Hyeri will be playing Kang Ro-seo, a struggling aristocratic woman who makes alcohol as the breadwinner of her family while Yoo Seung-ho will take on the role of inspector Nam Young from the Office of the Inspector-General. Byun Woo-seok will play crown prince, Lee Pyo who likes drinking so much. Finally, Kang Mi-na will play Han Ae-jin, the only daughter of a noble family.
