All you need to know about Kuala Lumpur's latest food haven with new offerings from some of Malaysia's top chefs
If you're looking for the next unique dining destination in Kuala Lumpur, check out Artisan's Playground. A food hall featuring a slew of micro restaurants, it also hosts a coffee roaster, an artisan's workshop, a fine Japanese knives vendor and even show kitchens.
Familiar names are further enticement—think Raymond Tham of Beta KL and Skillet 163, Diego Reali of Natalina Italian Kitchen and Bocado, and the team from iconic Chinese restaurant, Extra Super Tanker.

The kitchens here are kitted out with top-of-the-line equipment such as Josper grills and Apollo ovens that will make for the finest of dining experiences. By all accounts, it promises to be a gastronomic experience of epic proportions.

Tucker

Tucker is an all-day breakfast and brunch eatery, inspired by Australia’s café culture. Think breakfast tapas and light eats like eggplant tempura with tomato kasundi, hotcakes with orange curd, berries compote, crushed pistachio and maple syrup, and corn fritters with paprika yoghurt, couscous tabouli, poached egg and sumac for a great start to your day.
Mabel
Tucker’s sister eatery, Mabel is inspired by Melbourne’s cuisine but with a focus on sharing plates and punchy flavours. This casual diner is open for lunch and dinner, and serves creamy chilli clams and mussels, Mabel’s fried chicken with mint-tofu mayonnaise, pickled chilli relish and crispy curry leaves, and crab and pea risotto with Shimeji mushrooms.

Burnt & Co
The latest from Raymond Tham of Skillet 163 and Beta KL is focused on grilled eats. The powerful Josper grill cooks such dishes as Mala honey smoked duck breast, grilled baby octopus on sourdough toast, and Australian Wagyu M7 Striploin with chimichurri.

The brainchild of Chef Diego Reali, Pie Guys specialises in hand-stretched thin crust pizzas made using a Stefano Ferrara wood-fire oven. Each pie is constructed with gourmet ingredients and given such amusing names as Garlic Girl and First Date Fancy.

Aliyaa has also brought its famed Sri Lankan cuisine to this location, where you can also expect to find dishes like mud crab curry and sweet appam that made its Bukit Damansara outpost such a huge draw with diners.
Voila Patisserie
From the Malaysian duo Otto Tay and Loi Ming Ai, who won the World Pastry Cup Championship 2019, Voila Pattiserie features their signature petit gateaux that look and taste magnificent.
