Live out your chaebol fantasy in your own home with these iconic designer furniture pieces seen on K-drama ‘Queen of Tears’
Since its premiere on South Korean television channel TvN in March this year, Queen of Tears has become one of the most popular K-dramas out there, even ranking in the global top 10 on Netflix. The series follows the romantic ups and downs between Hong Hae-in, a third-generation chaebol heiress, and Baek Hyun-woo, the son of farmers.
Articles have been written diving into lead actress Kim Ji-won’s sophisticated wardrobe and chic jewellery collection, but not much has been said about the show’s fabulous furniture. Luxuriously fitted out, the minimalist setting boasts statement furnishings from designer brands such as Glas Italia, Wittmann, and System 180, highlighting the characters’ discerning taste. Notably, much of the furniture was sourced from the Boe showroom in Seoul, which also stocks brands like Thomas&Vines and Saba Italia for upscale Korean homes.
If you’re deep into the K-drama scene and dreaming of living out your chaebol fantasies in your own home, you can now get the look with these designer furniture items seen on Queen of Tears.
