This August 31, 2022, eleven of the metro’s finest restaurants will curate special dinner menus in support of World Vision Development Foundation Inc’s clean water and hygiene programmes

Clean, safe water should be a basic human right. Unfortunately for many, this is no longer the case.

Impoverished communities around the world, especially those in remote areas, are in dire need of access to a stable, secure water source. Beyond putting individuals at risk of contracting sickness at disease due to unhygienic practices, many children are also robbed of schooling opportunities and are forced to make arduous treks to distant water wells.

Hoping to raise awareness of this alarming water scarcity crisis, ten of the metro’s finest restaurants are joining forces for a one-night-only dining initiative. Held on Wednesday, the 31st of August, the community-driven charity event includes the following establishments: Azuthai Restaurant, The Black Pig, Cirkulo, Gallery by Chele, Hapag, Helm, M Dining, Metronome, The Test Kitchen by Josh Boutwood, Toyo Eatery, and Wagyu Studio.

Each of the ten restaurants will curate a special dinner menu for the occasion. Part of the proceeds from each meal will be directly donated to the World Vision Development Foundation Inc to support their clean water and hygiene programmes across Albay, Sorsogon, Camarines Sur, Antique, Leyte, Samar, Negros, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Be sure to book a seat at your favourite participating restaurant to enjoy a memorable evening with delicious food for a great cause.
