Ring in the Year of the Tiger with these delectable treasure pots

Chinese New Year is never complete without a lavish reunion dinner starring traditional auspicious dishes such as yusheng, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, and, of course, pen cai.
 
Also known as poon choi, this classic Cantonese dish is an ensemble of auspicious ingredients, among which are abalone, dried scallops, prawns and roasted duck. These are steeped in savoury gravy and best eaten with the family to symbolise harmony.
