If you’re always thinking of your next great meal, then these staycation packages in Hong Kong will turn your stay from bland to grand
Eat, sleep, repeat—with international travel (still!) mostly out of the question for 2021, a staycation in the city is more attractive than ever; and if you’re the type to examine the in-room dining options more than the thread count of the bedsheets, there are plenty of gourmet-centric staycation packages to whet your appetite. It's especially true these days, when staying in is the new going out, and there is nothing more indulgent than rolling out of your king-sized bed to lope off to the award-winning restaurant downstairs for an early dinner and drinks, and then retreating to your room in a happy post-prandial daze. For the true glutton, these staycation packages are worth their weight in gold.

Grand Hyatt Hong Kong
While Australia is still all but closed off to non-citizens, Tourism Australia has partnered with Grand Hyatt Hong Kong to launch the Aussie Steakation, an offer catered just for the city's meat lovers. The staycation is centred around a four-course dinner at Grand Hyatt Steakhouse, featuring an Australian seafood platter and a main dish of Australian wagyu sirloin or Mayura M9 wagyu striploin (for an additional price). This is all washed down with Australia's best wines, selected by sommelier Maxime Duval, or imaginative wine-based cocktails by mixologist Drew Chigorimbo.
The offer also includes breakfast for two, a curated set of natural Australian in-room amenities, and a 4pm late checkout time for those staying between Monday and Thursday. Book here.
