1. Sala’s Bagel Burger

Instead of your usual burger buns, Sala’s Bagel Burger is served in a—if you haven’t already guessed—bagel! Mushroom asada, pico de gallo and roasted tomato chipotle salsa are some of the other components of this alternative burger.

2. The Hungry Tapir’s Pink Bombshell Burger

If you’re looking for something colorful, the Hungry Tapir’s Pink Bombshell Burger is sure to catch your eye. A new edition to their #savetheplanet menu, the burger is dyed naturally using beetroot and comes with melted vegan herb cheese and sweet potato fries. This ‘bombshell’ will definitely make you do a double take.

3. Fittie Sense’s Eden Burger

Previously just a #meatlessmonday special, this burger is now available everyday due to its popularity. This isn't surprising since the patty comes packed with sweet potatoes, chickpeas, mushroom and quinoa—all the good stuff! Did we mention the gorgeous slices of avocado on top for extra flavour and benefits?

4. Kanteen’s Veggie Burger

Kanteen's burgers can be made vegan—just ask your waiter. And if burgers don't suit your palate, check out the eatery's other plant-based goodies such as their vegan Tom Yum and Nasi Lemak Rendang!

5. Simply Good Food’s Ultimate Veggie Burger

Plant-forward diners will be excited to know Simply Good Food has six veggie burgers on the menu, two of which are made with Beyond Meat. The Ultimate Veggie Burger, Crispy Portobello Burger, Signature Thanksgiving Burger and Truffle Beyond Burger are fully vegan, while the Lentil Protein Burger and Classic Cheese Beyond Burger cater towards vegetarian diners.

6. RGB Cafe’s Veggie Burgers

RGB Cafe is another spot that will spoil you for choice when it comes to meat-free options. Serving not one, two or three but four plant-based burgers, the Ampang eatery makes it hard to choose—you might spend longer making a decision than eating your burger. Options include the Broccoli, the Beetroot, the Hemp and the Power Protein (with vegan mince).

7. KGB’s Chloe’s Earth Burger

KGB serves an array of plant-based burgers such as the Portobello Bomb (pictured above) and Chloe’s Earth Burger, which sees a black bean and pistachio patty topped with sweet potato crisps (how good does that sound?). Go fully vegan by requesting eggless buns, plant-based margarine and soy-based sauces.

8. La Juiceria's Truffle Umami Beyond Burger

The first cafe to introduce Beyond Meat to Malaysia, La Juiceria Superfoods has collaborated with local burger brand BurgerLab to create the Truffle Umami Beyond Burger. Made with no synthetically produced ingredients or GMOs, the Beyond Burger patties used in the burger are completely made from plants such as peas, beans, potatoes and brown rice. Don't miss out!
