The second edition of the Exchange TRX x Tatler GMT Watch Festival kicked off in style recently
It was all about time and precision at the The Exchange TRX on June 25, when the mall, together with co-host Tatler GMT, launched a watch festival for the second year in a row. Highlighting the best in horology with a month-long series of exciting activities, the cocktail event also unveiled 10 watches on exhibition from June 25 - 28.
Each piece a veritable showcase of the respective manufacture’s watchmaking expertise, the collection of timepieces included Blancpain’s Villeret Quantième Perpétuel Phases de Lune, Breitling’s Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar, Bvlgari's Octo Finissimo Skeleton 8 Days, Chanel’s Monsieur de Chanel, Hublot’s MP-10 Tourbillon Weight Energy System Titanium, Longines’ Mini Dolce Vita, Omega’s Speedmaster Calibre 321 Canopus Gold, Rado’s Anatom Skeleton, Tudor’s Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 26”, and Zenith’s Chronomaster Sport Skeleton.

Guests were greeted by a photo booth by Kotak Ventures as well as a leather keychain maker Pesakraf, both of which created memorable keepsakes for them. Venturing further into the space, one discovered a luxurious, garden-inspired design with lush greenery arches, sparkling crystal chandeliers, and elegant white floral arrangements, creating a sophisticated and upscale ambiance.
Fuelling the good vibes were delicious cocktails by Johnnie Walker Blue Label, with neat pours also available for those who preferred it.
After opening remarks by Brian Cheong, editor of Tatler GMT Malaysia, and Trevor Hill, general manager of The Exchange TRX, singer Evie Feroza entertained with a selection of classic and contemporary hits. Guests were also invited to register for watchmaking masterclasses conducted by Time & Motions by scanning the QR code placed all around the event venue.
As the evening drew to a close, it was clear that the second edition of the watch festival was more than just a showcase of exceptional craftsmanship—it was a celebration of time itself. From the tick of each meticulously crafted movement to the clink of glasses and the hum of lively conversation, every moment was curated with the same precision found in the timepieces on display. Guests departed with a renewed appreciation for the artistry that makes every second count.
