From intimate gatherings to picturesque travels, this is how the community spent Easter Sunday

More than just a holiday of worship, Easter Sunday is the perfect time to bond with the whole family. While some of us went on little road trips to enjoy the summer heat, others chose to stay home to enjoy the quiet. There are some, however, who choose to take things up a notch, with grand celebrations involving wandering feet to escape reality. From the crashing waves of Siargao to the mesmerising cherry blossoms of South Korea, we take a look at how some of the Tatler community members spent their Holy Week vacation.

Heart Evangelista

Donning a black vest paired with velvet pants and a satin robe, Heart Evangelista spent Easter in Singapore with her family—Chiz, Quino and Chesi—where they enjoyed coffee and sandwiches at the Prada Cafe.

Karen Davila

Beating the heat, Karen Davila, along with Small Laude and Tootsy Angara, hit the waves of Siargao, where they enjoyed its white sands and explored the lush mangrove forest.

Anne Curtis

After exploring Lotte World with her mother, sister, and daughter, Anne Curtis quietly spent Easter Sunday among the cherry blossoms of Nami Island.

Ella Pangilinan

Together with Sofia Andres, Enrique and Daniel Miranda, Ella Pangilinan had a restful week at the quiet shores of San Remigio, Cebu.

Dr Aivee and Z Teo

For the Teos, they spent Holy Week jetsetting from Los Angeles to Las Vegas—enjoying steaks, a Dodgers game, and a show by David Blaine. The kids, KenZ, Kenzo, and Kelli enjoyed their photowalks on Hollywood and the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef Aquarium.

Gabbi Garcia

Ever the wanderer, Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos toured Siargao—crawling the island’s picturesque landscapes and diverse culinary scene.

Nikki Huang

Embraced by the calmness of the ocean, Nikki Huang spent Easter freediving in El Nido’s deep blue. Before taking the plunge, however, she enjoyed the company of her family on a yacht.

Angie and Joey Mead King

Enjoying the heat of the summer, the Kings bathed in the orange sun as they went on a beach trip. As environmentalists, the two also cleaned up the coast during low tide.

Franco Laurel

Franco Laurel brought the whole family together by the side of Taal Lake, where the adults enjoyed cocktails and the children fished at a small pond.
