Anne Curtis

Actress

The celebrity, entrepreneur, and philanthropist flaunts a style as multi-faceted as her career

With a career that spans over two decades, Anne Curtis is an actress, model, television host, singer, entrepreneur and social media star who has appeared on the cover of countless magazines, including Tatler Philippines.

She began appearing in local TV shows at the age of 12 when, in 1997, she was cast in the Peque Gallaga-Lore Reyes fantasy film Magic Kingdom. Since then, she has appeared in over 30 films, earning two FAMAS Awards, two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and a Luna Award. The actress also enjoys a prolific career in television as an actor and host, receiving five PMPC Star Awards for Television.

Having grown up in the spotlight, Curtis is no stranger to the fashion industry and is equally comfortable with commercial and high fashion brands. She is also a fashion entrepreneur who launched her businesses during the pandemic as she took time off to be a mother. Activewear line Recess is a venture with fellow celebrity Isabel Daza, while Tili Dahli is the children’s wear brand that Curtis co-created with her sister-in-law, Solenn Heussaff.

After a two-year hiatus from show business, the actress resumed her TV career in 2022 as the noontime show It’s Showtime co-host. In June 2022, the multimedia star performed at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre for her Luv-Anne concert.

In February 2023, she was reportedly gearing up for a big-screen project with award-winning director Erik Matti. Additional details about the movie have yet to be announced.

“Don’t follow a trend just for the hell of it. If you love it and feel comfortable in it, then go for it. But if it’s not you, don’t force it.”
