The Tatler Best Awards reveal the top 100 restaurants, bars and hotels across Asia

Back for its second edition, Tatler Best Awards returned this October with a landmark cross-continental debut and a star-studded two-day celebration in Bangkok. 

Over two remarkable days, Bangkok became the epicentre of recognition, inspiration and exchange—where the region’s most influential figures in gastronomy, mixology and travel gathered under one roof. Held on October 21–22 2025, at Paragon Hall, the Tatler Best Awards brought together over 800 industry leaders, culinary icons and cultural tastemakers from across the globe for a celebration that honoured the visionaries shaping the future of hospitality.

This year’s edition marked a milestone in the programme’s growth, expanding beyond Asia to encompass the broader Asia-Pacific region with the inclusion of Australia and New Zealand. For the first time, Tatler Best also extended its reach to the Middle East, recognising distinguished properties during the prestigious Best-in-Class Gala.

The definitive Tatler Best Awards list spotlighted 300 establishments: 100 hotels, restaurants, bars, plus over 20 Best-in-Class awards, cementing its position as one of the region’s most influential accolades in the world of fine living. Among this year’s honourees were 12 establishments from the Philippines—six restaurants, three bars and three hotels—reflecting the country’s dynamic creativity and growing influence in the global dining and cocktail landscape.

Representing the Philippines’s vibrant culinary scene, the awardees exemplify innovation, craft and a deep respect for local culture.

THE RESTAURANTS

Toyo Eatery continues to capture the warmth and nostalgia of Filipino home cooking through every sophisticated plate, while transforming everyday ingredients into refined, soulful expressions of identity and place. Chef Jordy Navarra’s commitment to storytelling through food remains a touchstone for the region.

Inatô by chef JP Cruz, expands the boundaries of modern Filipino cuisine, artfully weaving regional flavours and heartfelt narratives into its seasonal menus while making use of stunning global produce. Each creation is peppered with deeply personal inflexions from him and the team.

At Hapag, chefs Thirdy Dolatre and Kevin Navoa spotlight regional Filipino food through a fine dining lens infused with experiential notes—where memory, terroir and artistry converge to tell the story of a modern Philippines.

BARS

In the bar scene, Raion captivates by honouring the classics while utilising modern techniques and experimental flavour to deliver something new and swoon-worthy.  

Fat Cat exudes playful sophistication through its inventive cocktails and modern energy. This small, unassuming cocktail bar has self-taught bartender Ronald Cruz winning over guests with his warm hospitality and inspired drinks.

Ito, headed by Niko Tiutan and Alex Atienza, brings quiet refinement to its patrons, offering a unique cocktail tasting menu experience where restraint and balance define each pour.
