1. Hanakazu (The Bellevue Manila)

Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa City

An inconspicuous favourite among Southern city folk for its extensive spread of Japanese dishes, Hanakazu closed the doors to its BF Homes outlet earlier this February. Thankfully, this farewell was short-lived as the restaurant recently reopened at The Bellevue Manila, under the continued custodianship of Lorna Otsuka, wife of the late chef Hirokai Otsuka, and the rest of the Hanakazu team.

2. Dean and Deluca (BGC)

Location: BGC, Taguig City

SoHo café and one-stop-epicurean-shop Dean & Deluca has relocated its Rockwell flagship to a bigger and better BGC address—at ORE Central Building, to be exact. While still on its soft opening and with the mezzanine in the works, it promises a fresh and chic way to enjoy your brunch favourites.

3. Dr. Wine Rooftop

Location: Poblacion, Makati

Kartel Rooftop Bar, the happening al fresco hub above French bistro Dr. Wine, has welcomed guests once more under the new brand Dr. Wine Rooftop. Come for the picturesque sunset, stay because you won’t want to leave.

5. Kashmir (BGC)

6. Benjarong — Tasting Menu Vol II

After a rousing success with their first tasting menu, Dusit Thani Manila’s lauded Thai restaurant Benjarong will roll out an exciting second volume this April 13, just in time for the festive Songkran holiday. 7. Nono’s — Flavours of Summer

As we approach the warmest months of the year, Nono’s introduces a new summer menu. Available until the end of May, it’s a flavoursome showcase of fresh seafood with crowd-favourites like vongole pasta—then again, their classic fried chicken is always a good idea, no matter the season.

8. Il Fornaio Da Gianni
