Even before she was a Cartier ambassador, the Blackpink star has kept a collection of its iconic timepieces

In the trend-driven world of K-pop, it’s always refreshing to find a star that sticks to the classics. That’s certainly the case with Blackpink star Jisoo, who embodies timelessness with her all-black hair, her classic Dior dresses and, of course, her Cartier watches.

While she was only announced as ambassador to the brand in May this year, the Pink Venom singer had already been passionate about the French luxury brand’s timepieces, which have similarly won over celebrities like Bella Hadid, Angelina Jolie and Jake Gyllenhaal. As a testament to their timelessness, Jisoo has worn her Cartier watches over and over again—easy enough for her to do, considering that they complement her many looks from casual to couture.

Besides being stylish additions to her wardrobe, the watches also make for great investment pieces—something that Jisoo, the richest Blackpink member, probably knows.

Curious about her Cartier collection? Below, we spotlight the luxury watches that Jisoo can’t stop wearing.

As the new face of the Panthère de Cartier line, it’s not surprising that Jisoo owns a timepiece from the storied collection. The Panthère de Cartier watch first debuted in 1983 and quickly became a hit among both men and women in the the decade of disco and decadence, with stars like Madonna, Keith Richards and Jane Fonda becoming faithful owners of it. Marked by its square case and link bracelet, the watch is undeniably glamorous—and it’s just the thing to spruce up a laid-back T-shirt look, as Jisoo shows us.

Released in 2004, the Tank Solo is one of the closest recreations of the first Cartier Tank watch, from its geometric case right down to the Roman numerals on its dial. And yet it looks anything but old on Jisoo, who frequently sports the sophisticated timepiece.

The Ballon Bleu de Cartier is almost an anomaly in Jisoo’s collection, being the only round face watch. It’s also newer: it was launched in 2007, but it has a considerable following that includes British royal Kate Middleton. Clearly, the watch is a mark of elegance, and Jisoo has unsurprisingly been spotted wearing hers to events and while transiting at airports.
