The latest from Audemars Piguet includes—surprise, surprise—a jumping hour and a pocket watch

Audemars Piguet kicks off 2026 in high gear with a slew of new releases that offer expanded options of its beloved models and a couple of interesting surprises—you’d have to scroll all the way down to find out.

But first, the ladies will be pleased to know there is now a more understated version of the Royal Oak Mini quartz collection, forgoing the sparkly Frosted Gold of its predecessors, but no less luxurious. These elegant propositions include a pink gold version with a mirror-polished onyx dial and a yellow gold paired with an extra-white mother-of-pearl. The watch is powered by quartz Calibre 2730 and includes a switch function to deactivate the battery when not in use

Code 11.59 debuts a beautiful ivory dial adorned with a guilloché pattern by Swiss artisan Yann von Kaenel. Available in 41mm white gold, it features a self-winding flying tourbillon movement, with the rotating cage visible at 6 o’clock.

Meanwhile, meet the maison’s new self-winding perpetual calendar openworked movement, Calibre 7139 that incorporates the all-in-one crown correcting system of last year’s Calibre 7138. Calibre 7139 debuts in a Royal Oak in titanium and Bulk Metallic Glass and a two-tone Code 11.59 in white gold and ceramic, the first openworked perpetual calendar in the collection.

Audemars Piguet revisits a distant past for the New Frame Jumping Hour, which is based on the pre-model 1271 designed by Edward Piguet in 1929. Inspired by the Streamline Moderne architectural movement, the rectangular pink gold case features vertical gadroons on both sides, but what’s perhaps more interesting is the heartbeat within: the first Audemars Piguet self-winding movement, Calibre 7122.

On the black PVD sapphire crystal dial are two gold-framed windows: the jumping hour indicator at 12 o’clock and the trailing minutes at 6 o’clock. Calibre 7122 is fitted with a patented shock-absorbing system to ensure stability. For greater shock resistance, the hour disc is in titanium while the minute disc is made of aluminium.

Audemars Piguet is apparently not quite done yet with its 150th anniversary celebration—the new limited-edition 150 Heritage pocket watch has just been unveiled to reiterate its watchmaking savoir-faire. Boasting 47 functions, including 30 complications, the watch is both an engineering and a design marvel. One of the more esteemed complications here is the Universal Calendar, which assembles solar, lunar and lunisolar calendars on a single dial for a 360-degree panorama with 18 indications: the year, leap years, months, dates, weeks, moon phase and seasonal markers, as well as nine cultural celebrations drawn from global traditions. The timepiece showcases several métiers d’art including blue Grand Feu enamel. The platinum case comes with a platinum chain with two spring ring clasps.
