Mini yet mighty, the new Royal Oak Mini blends timeless design with contemporary styling in a petite form

Audemars Piguet introduces the Royal Oak Mini, a collection that pays homage to the brand’s legacy of miniature and jewellery watches while pushing the boundaries of contemporary design. These new 22mm models combine the Royal Oak’s design codes with a diminutive size and a Frosted Gold finishing for a shimmering monochromatic aesthetic.

Available in three iterations—18-karat yellow, pink, and white Frosted Gold—the Royal Oak Mini stands as the newest member of the Royal Oak family. Drawing inspiration from the 20mm Mini Royal Oak model from 1997, while exploring the jewellery sensitivity at the heart of the Royal Oak, these small timepieces will grace the smaller wrists with a touch of glamour.

The craftsmanship lies in the combination (and alignment) of different finishing techniques that highlights the different facets of the case and offer rich plays of lights. The diamond-dust effect of the Frosted Gold finish on the case and bracelet provides a refined contrast with the bezel’s polished bevels and the satin-finish on the case and bracelet’s flanks. The caseback features sandblasting, satin brushing and polishing to echo the design of the case.

The dial of the Royal Oak Mini also exudes a refined jewellery aesthetic, with its tone-on-tone Petite Tapisserie pattern enhancing the play of light. The faceted gold hour markers, luminescent for optimal readability in low light, complement the luminescent-coated hands, ensuring both elegance and functionality. The dial maintains a clean, streamlined appearance by omitting the date and seconds functions, further emphasising its sophisticated simplicity.

Powered by the quartz movement, Calibre 2730, the Royal Oak Mini is as functional as it is beautiful. With a battery life of over seven years and a “switch” feature that allows the wearer to deactivate the battery temporarily, this watch is designed to accommodate the demands of a contemporary lifestyle.
