Patek Philippe has enhanced its Singapore Service Centre to better serve clients in the region

As one of the most prestigious watch brands in the world, Patek Philippe understands the importance of supporting its customers long after they bring their dream watch home. For generations, the maison has done an outstanding job in cultivating brand loyalty, and not just through its exceptional products.

A major contributing factor is its considerable attention to—and investment in— the maintenance and restoration of its timepieces. Its pledge extends to every timepiece the brand has ever created since 1839, not only those produced after the current owners, the Stern family, took over in 1932. A thoughtful and extensive after-sales care makes good business sense.

Patek Philippe currently boasts 13 Service Centres around the world, including the newly reopened facility in Singapore—which closed for two weeks for a quick renewal. Located in Wheelock Place along Orchard Road, it has been upgraded to cater to the discerning expectations of its clientele around the region. Patek Philippe also operates a Service Centre in Bangkok, but that address serves predominantly Thai clients.

For a watch service centre, the 828 sq m space is so much more than a clinical assemblage of equipment and techniques. In fact, it boasts a refreshed interior of warm wood and sleek marble, aptly reflecting the quiet sophistication of a well-crafted Patek Philippe timepiece.

Greeting visitors is a welcoming reception area, the centrepiece of a circular floral installation lends it extra charm. Tucked away down the hallway is an elegant lounge where viewings and presentations are conducted in a cosy, intimate setting.

Following a professional assessment, an estimate of the cost and timeline can be provided promptly—ideal for the busy client.

The workshop features a new layout for its four core stations—essential maintenance, movement intervention, case intervention, and final control— optimising space and enabling a more efficient workflow. It boasts 16 watchmakers, all of whom undergo training in Geneva. It‘s also reassuring to know that the level of attention to detail and craftsmanship here is equal to that of a watchmaker putting together a new watch.

This reopening reaffirms Patek Philippe’s commitment to extending the best after-sales service to its clients in the region, while upholding the values of independence and quality workmanship that have defined the maison since its beginning.
