1. Fashionable and talented Filipinas have graced the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival

The Cannes Film Festival, one of the most prolific fashion-forward events held each year, saw local personalities such as Heart Evangelista, Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey and Dolly de Leon grace the red carpet. Wurtzbach turned heads in a stunning black ensemble by Mark Bumgarner, while Heart Evangelista donned a romantic red taffeta number by Lebanese-Italian fashion designer Tony Ward. Dolly de Leon wore a dress by Ann Cuatico.

2. Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey at the Cannes Film Festival

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach showed up to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in two daring but delightful creations by Mark Bumgarner. She attended a Le Retour (Homecoming) screening at Palais de Festivals in a metallic scarlet evening gown with minimal glam makeup and APM Monaco jewellery. She made a second appearance at the premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. She sported a flattering black gown with a cape and puffed sleeves for the latter.
Bumgarner worked closely with Wurtzbach’s stylist Perry Tabora to create “something new” for the beauty queen. Regarding the process of designing for Wurtzbach, Bumgarner tells Tatler, “I wanted her to look elegant, sexy, and modern”.

3. Meet the Filipino fashion icons who made the list of Asia's Most Sylish 2023

Tatler’s annual list of Asia’s Most Stylish included ten honourees from the Philippines–one of whom graced the cover. The country’s best dressed, including Jericho Rosales, Kathy Yap-Huang, Emmeline Aglipay Villar, Maica Salud Tady, Patty Ang, LA Aguinaldo, Kifu Augousti, Rissa Mananquil Trillo and Mond Gutierrez, have all earned a spot on this coveted list due to their creativity, confidence and effortless sense of all things sartorial.

4. Jordan Clarkson's off-court looks

Filipino-American basketball player Jordan Clarkson returned to the motherland to join this year’s FIBA Basketball World Cup. 5. The power of collaboration

Authentic fashion should always be more than what meets the eye. This limited-edition collaboration between Melissa Yeung-Yap and Yong Davalos of Yong Studios is not only a celebration of aesthetics. Still, it is also a way to empower women and support local communities. All profits from the sale of this collection were dedicated to Marillac Hills Psychological Center for Sexually Abused Girls and Children.

6. Jisoo's enduring love affair with Dior

Aptly dubbed the “Human Dior'', Blackpink member Jisoo was declared the brand’s fashion and beauty global ambassador in 2021. She has proven to be an ardent supporter of the prolific brand, pairing various bags and purses, from the iconic saddle bag to the distinctive Lady Dior, with an assortment of striking looks.

7. Anne Curtis and Heart Evangelista's New York minute

Style mavens and entertainment big-names Heart Evangelista and Anne Curtis are no strangers to the jet-setting lifestyle. Last April, Tatler joined them in the Big Apple to unveil Tiffany and Co.’s new flagship store. Together, the duo lit up the streets of New York City in wardrobes accented with pieces courtesy of the luxury jewellery house.

8. Golden Goose’s Venetian Dream

Italian luxury fashion brand Golden Goose chose the glamorous, enigmatic Venice as the first stop in a series of global events called ‘HAUS of Dreamers’. An offshoot of the brand’s phygital platform ‘HAUS’, the series aims to unleash creativity through exploring global destinations. Tatler Philippines editor-in-chief Anton San Diego recalls “magic and surprises all around” at the main event held at the Venice Hotel.

9. Lacoste's collaboration with Netflix

Lacoste partnered with the popular streaming site to create a collection celebrating fan-favourite Netflix shows. From polos to tracksuits, the collaboration revisits the brand’s penchant for genderless clothing with characters and references drawn from the shows’ different universes. You may even spot Lacoste’s iconic crocodile logo in a powdered wig a la Bridgerton.

10. Style according to Anne Curtis

As an honouree of this year’s Asia’s Most Stylish list, the beloved actress revealed the story of her growth and personal development through style, sharing with Tatler some of her favourite designers, fashion preferences, and tips for achieving sustainability through clothing. “Don’t follow a trend just for the hell of it,” she shares. “If you love and feel comfortable in it, go for it. But if it’s not you, don’t force it.”
