Malaysia’s Asia’s Most Stylish honourees, past and present, converged on The Chow Kit for one luminous night
This year, ten luminaries joined the Asia’s Most Stylish community, supported by Chopard. Nazreem Musa, Jane Chuck, Shalma Ainaa, Daniel Lim, Magie Abang Saufi, Josh Kua, Natalie Prabha, Jen Tang, Jas Chin and Tanestrran Chandran were our honourees for 2025, recognised for their fearless personal style and their contributions to our dynamic, evolving fashion scene. On September 18 we gathered friends of Tatler and Asia’s Most Stylish honourees from years past to recognise them.

The scene: The Chow Kit, whose warm interiors glowed on a cloudy evening. Inside, viking style tables were laden with beautiful local flora, nodding to the Modern Malaysian theme.

Downstairs, guests gathered over modern renditions of Malaysian favourites: laksa Johor crowned with ikura, succulent Sabah lobster gulai, Wagyu rendang short rib and a delicate bubur cha cha parfait.
It was a night befitting of beautiful jewels. Our 2025 honourees completed their outfits for the evening with specially selected pieces from Chopard, draping and layering the jewellery to suit their own individual styles.

The festivities wouldn’t be complete without official recognition of our 2025 honourees—Tatler Malaysia executive managing director Geraldine Beh presented the ten stylish individuals with beautiful Royal Selangor framed photos, engraved with each honouree’s name, to mark the occasion.

Guests made their leisurely way upstairs for cocktails from Royal Brackla and photo opps galore—turns out, espresso martinis are a great way to warm up for the photo wall. The merriment and drinks flowed, from impeccably crafted Old Fashioneds to splashes of Royal Brackla 12 Year Old on the rocks.
The celebrations were far from over. As the dinner plates were cleared, the room buzzed with conversation as new honourees mingled with alumni from previous years. It was a testament to the event’s true purpose: not just to recognise the stylish, but to cultivate a vibrant community of creative forces.

Against the warm glow of The Chow Kit, the night was a shimmering snapshot of Kuala Lumpur’s creative heart: a stylish confluence of past, present, and the exciting future of Asian fashion.
