Guests descended on the Mondrian Singapore Duxton to celebrate the launch of the Tatler Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow 2025 and welcome the 28 new Singapore honourees on the list

On July 10, Tatler Singapore celebrated the tenth edition of the annual Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow, the definitive guide to Asia’s most promising talents.

Held in partnership with Código 1530 and Porsche Singapore at the Bottega di Carna restaurant at Mondrian Singapore Duxton, more than 100 guests gathered to celebrate the milestone, which underscored the platform’s evolution from a simple list to an evolving ecosystem of next-generation leaders spanning technology, science, wellness, sustainability and more.

“It’s been wonderful meeting so many honourees over the years, here in Singapore and across Asia! We’re seeing more and more people building businesses that are really creating great impact and advancement for our community,” shared Stephanie Tay, managing director of Tatler Singapore, during her joint address with Chong Seow Wei, regional senior editor of Tatler Gen.T.

The evening’s programme blended recognition with genuine connection. Co-emcees Valerie Lim, digital editor of Tatler Gen.T, and Ria Singh, regional business development manager of Tatler Asia, set an energetic tone that carried throughout the night. Along with the beats of DJ Aldrin, their chemistry and enthusiasm helped create an atmosphere where Singapore’s rising stars felt both celebrated and at home.

Breaking down barriers with ‘A World Without Strangers’

One of the most memorable elements of the evening was the networking challenge guests were given, titled A World Without Strangers. Rather than traditional mingling, guests were tasked with meeting five new people and learning something fascinating about their professional journeys—a refreshing approach that transformed networking from obligation into adventure.

“It’s not just about shaking hands,” explained Singh as she introduced the challenge. “Your mission is to find out something interesting about their business, a significant business milestone they’ve achieved or a fascinating insight into their industry.”

The challenge culminated in a prize ceremony where three randomly selected participants—Jane Wang, Shamir Rahim and Grace Ann Chua—shared their discoveries before receiving coveted prizes, including a two-day, one-night stay at Mondrian Singapore Duxton, Porsche thermal mugs and bottles of Código 1530 tequila.

A celebration of impact and innovation

The evening’s main highlight was the official unveiling of the 28 new Singapore honourees. From AI entrepreneurs to culture movers and sustainability advocates, the diverse cohort reflected Gen.T’s commitment to recognising leaders who are “thoughtful and leading with humanity,” as Tay noted.

Chong personally presented each honouree with a special gift—a personalised magazine featuring their portrait on the cover—a tangible reminder of their achievements, purpose and potential recognised. The ceremony concluded with a group photograph that captured the energy and optimism of Singapore’s next generation of leaders.

The excitement at the event was amplified by partner activations, including Código 1530’s tasting station, where guests savoured premium tequilas throughout the evening.

Porsche Singapore elevated the experience by chauffeuring 2025 honouree Bryan Oh and Tribe member Prantik Mazumdar to and from the event. A few weeks ago, the pair participated in the recent Highway Pitch with Porsche, where Oh got to pitch his patented battery recycling technology to Mazumdar, a seasoned startup investor.

As the evening drew to a close, the significance of the tenth-edition milestone was clear. What began as a recognition programme has evolved into a community that spans more than 3,000 honourees across nine regions in Asia and 20 industry categories.

In a world increasingly defined by rapid change and uncertainty, evenings like these remind us that the future remains bright. The Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow 2025 have officially taken their place on that stage, and Singapore—and the world—will be watching what they build next.
