Bryan Oh co-founded NEU Battery Materials with Kenneth Palmer in 2021 to address a critical gap in sustainable lithium recycling. The company’s patented electrochemical technology extracts lithium using only water and electricity, eliminating toxic acid-leaching processes. Operating from a Singapore pilot plant processing 200 tonnes annually, NEU Battery Materials has secured partnerships with the city’s transport operator SBS Transit and Malaysian battery developer NMB Gigafactory.
