Spin Fans

Above Spin Fans’ art gallery-esque Immersive Lab in Bendemeer
Designed in collaboration with Prestige Global Designs, Spin Fans’ Immersive Lab in Bendemeer resembles a light-filled, conceptually bold art gallery more than a mere showroom. The space’s predominantly white palette lends a museum-like clarity to the sensorial space, which encourages visitors to encounter fans not as appliances, but as elevated objects of design.
A cheeky statue of a guard stands watch over the fans, much like what one would see in an art gallery. Playful touches, such as wallpaper flipped upside down at the bar and inside the customisation room, spark conversation. A hidden room, accessed via a walkway framed by vines, is dedicated to sustainability. Here, visitors learn about Spin Fans’ recyclable Empress wooden fan blades, which are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified.

Atelier V&A

Hidden within an industrial complex in Kaki Bukit, Atelier V&A defies its modest entrance and lift lobby to reveal a soaring, gallery-like space. Founded by Singaporean designer Venetia Gu and Australian-Dutch stylist Aisha Hillary-Morgan, the atelier is both showroom and working studio—a rarity in Singapore. Within its double-height workshop, master artisans craft bespoke furniture under the Atelier One line, while the Vanda collection reimagines florals as sculptural arrangements. Infused with playfulness and bursts of personality, the duo also breathe new life into clients’ existing pieces, transforming even broken items into design treasures. Here, craftsmanship becomes theatre, and design is felt as much as it is seen.

Set in a historical building near Seletar Airport, Nathan Home offers an intimate and deeply personal showroom experience. A stone’s throw from industrial designer Nathan Yong’s own residence, which was also located in the neighbourhood, the space feels more like stepping into his house than entering a store. Within, the designer unveils a new brand rooted in material honesty, Southeast Asian sensibility and soulful craft, spanning sections named Essentials, Atelier, Limited Editions and Collabs. Visitors may join a tea-making workshop, encounter birdwatchers, and discover design in dialogue with place and nature.
Fritz Hansen

Once a monobrand showroom at Tan Boon Liat Building, Fritz Hansen has relocated to 211 Henderson Road under W.Atelier, bringing design and gastronomy together. The new showroom introduces wine bar RVLT, offering visitors the chance to settle in with a glass of natural wine before or after exploring the Danish brand’s classics. The partnership came about organically: Fritz Hansen Asia CEO Dario Reicherl was already a devoted fan of RVLT, which in turn was searching for a new home amid Singapore’s punishing rents. Building on a concept first tested in Korea that developed a cult following, the Singapore edition blends showroom and restaurant seamlessly. In this inspiring space, Series 7 chairs, Poul Kjærholm’s PK22 lounge chair and the 7:14AM Series 7 edition are displayed alongside other icons, while at RVLT, Arne Jacobsen’s Grand Prix chairs and the table series are used daily, with Jaime Hayon’s artworks adding further character to this convivial zone.

Friday’s Garden has grown into far more than a floral atelier. Founded by Clare Lee during the pandemic, it is rooted in Singapore yet connected to a wide creative network, using botanicals as a starting point for storytelling and community. Known for her omakase-style arrangements of seasonal blooms, Lee also curates workshops and experiences that draw in collaborators from across disciplines, from ceramicists and artists to designers exploring nature in unexpected forms. The result is an evolving platform that celebrates curiosity, craft and collaboration, positioning Friday’s Garden as a homegrown movement actively shaping Singapore’s creative landscape.

Vitra, formerly a monobrand store under W.Atelier at Tan Boon Liat Building, has found a new home at 211 Henderson Road, where it now shares space with Ditre Italia, the latest addition to W.Atelier’s portfolio. The pairing feels natural: Vitra brings its unmistakable personality through quirky accessories and iconic designs by Charles and Ray Eames, Verner Panton and Jean Prouvé in a kaleidoscope of colours, while Ditre introduces the quiet elegance of Italian living with its sartorial upholstery, modular sofas and beds that marry subtle luxury with comfort. Side by side, they form a showroom that balances playfulness with poise, inviting visitors to experience two distinct yet complementary design worlds.
