Diona Teh Li Shian, daughter of the late tycoon Teh Hong Piow, bought the Good Class Bungalow at a record-breaking price
Diona Teh Li Shian, the daughter of Malaysia’s Public Bank Bhd, has purchased a Good Class Bungalow (GCB) in Tanglin Hill for $93.9 million.
The Singaporean is one of four children of the late tycoon Teh Hong Piow, founder of the financial institution that has grown into Malaysia’s second-biggest lender. Teh has been a public face of the family since her father’s death in 2022.

Located near the main Orchard Road shopping belt, her new property sits on a plot of about 15,150 sq ft, which was sold for about $6,197 psf—a record-breaking purchase completed in February.
Meir Homes, a local developer of upscale landed properties, is currently constructing the new luxury mansion on the plot that was acquired for $30 million in 2022. Designed by Wallflower Architects, the two-storey, stone-cladded residence will have a total floor area of about 29,665 sq ft, complete with a basement, a 25-metre pool with a tanning deck, a walk-in wine chiller, and an 18-seater theatre.
