To kickstart the Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow celebrations, we hosted a cocktail party for the 35 Tatler Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow from the Philippines at Shangri-la The Fort, Manila
The Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow 2024 was unveiled on June 3, and to celebrate the new cohort of honourees in the Philippines, we hosted a cocktail event at Shangri-la The Fort in Manila on the same day.
More than 150 guests attended, from 2024 honourees Chris Nick, Denise Dalusong and Kiyanusch Braun to past years’ honourees Mark Bantugon, Nadine Lustre and Nikki Sevilla. Also in attendance were several of the industry veterans who worked with our editorial team to put together the list. Affectionately called the Gen.T Tribe, they include Franco Varona, Cherrie Atilano and Tim Yap.
Tatler Asia COO Parry Singh as well as Tatler Philippines’ managing director Irene Martel Francisco and editor-in-chief Anton San Diego were also in attendance to celebrate with the honourees.

The evening began with emcee Aziza Mondonedo introducing the Tatler Gen.T brand. Isabel Martel Francisco, Tatler Philippines deputy editorial director and dining editor, also took the stage to reflect on her stint as the first Gen.T editor in the Philippines, paving the way for her successor, Syrah Vivien Inocencio.
Later, 2016 Gen.T honouree and current-year Tribe member Tim Yap of Yaparazzi Events + PR shared with guests an inspiring tale of heartbreaks, perseverance and hard work that typically comes with being a leader.

The event reached its peak with the official introduction of this year’s 35 Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow from the Philippines. With excitement, the new honourees were invited up on stage for group photos to commemorate the moment before continuing their evening of more feasting and networking. To add a special touch to their recognition, each honouree received a personalised magazine with their photo on the cover.
