Ambience can truly set the tone–find out which restaurants have the best mood lighting in the country

How important is ambience to the dining experience? Very. When a diner steps into a restaurant and plans a night out, they are, more often than not, hoping to be swept off their feet, transported, and whisked away to a totally new environment for a momentary escape from the outside world or the humdrum of the everyday.

The atmosphere and setting of a restaurant will set the mood for the night and dictate how guests settle in. Restaurants’ loyal patrons return to their favourite establishments to not only enjoy a spectacular meal but also to relax.

After ensuring that the eatery has nailed its food quality and menu, the ambience is that needed finishing touch to shape the customer’s experience. This can even be dictated by or paired with what cuisine is served at the restaurant. How you decorate, furnish, and light your restaurant will directly affect how your customer feels and can be the deciding factor that encourages them to spend more time in the restaurant, wanting to linger and enjoy the space. The ability to create a sense of escape and evoke a certain mood can also impact how guests socialise.

So, if you are looking for the ideal restaurant for a peaceful, elegant, soothing or romantic night, we have got you covered. Read on to find out where you should make your next reservation:
