At the recent Michelin Guide Singapore 2025 awards ceremony, 42 restaurants received their prestigious stars. Les Amis, Odette and Zén retained their three-star distinction, while Sushi Sakuta was promoted to two stars, and Omakase@Stevens earned its first star
The Michelin Guide Singapore made a grand return to an in-person awards ceremony this year, gathering a constellation of culinary talent on July 24 at Marina Bay Sands. The ninth edition of the prestigious guide celebrated Singapore’s dynamic dining landscape, with a total of 42 restaurants achieving the coveted Michelin star recognition.
Omakase @ Stevens is now firmly on every gourmand’s radar as the sole new addition to the one Michelin star category. Its talented head chef, Kazuki Arimoto, 31, was also honoured with the Young Chef Award. Having operated discreetly since its 2019 opening, the omakase restaurant offers six- to eight-course tasting menus that harmoniously fuse Arimoto’s Japanese heritage with classic French techniques. This latest inclusion brings the total number of one-Michelin-starred establishments to 32.

Another significant shift in this year’s results saw Sushi Sakuta, under the masterful guidance of chef-owner Yoshio Sakuta, promoted to two stars. Sushi Sakuta now joins six other acclaimed restaurants that successfully retained their two-star status: Jaan by Kirk Westaway, Meta, Saint Pierre, Shoukouwa, Saint Pierre and Thevar.
Unsurprisingly, the restaurants holding the three-star distinction remain unchanged. They are Les Amis, renowned for its exquisite French haute cuisine; Odette, which chef-owner Julien Royer eloquently describes as “French with a zest of Asia”; and Zén, a modern European culinary gem by celebrated Swedish chef Björn Frantzén. It is the same for the Green Star awardees, which were given to Seroja and Fiz for the second year running.
The awards ceremony also shone a spotlight on the individuals who significantly elevate the fine dining experience. Ines Carrière Bega from Odette was presented with the Service Award, while Bella Jankaew from Jaan by Kirk Westaway received the Sommelier Award.
