When haute couture meets haute cuisine, even the festive table becomes a canvas for creativity. For the year-end season, multi-Michelin-starred chef @yannickalleno has created an exclusive Yule log for Le Jardin at 30 Montaigne, reimagining the iconic @dior Cigale bag as an exquisite dessert. Beneath its white and gold casing, inspired by the architectural curves and delicate details of the original design, lies a layered composition of hazelnut crunch, Tahitian vanilla mousse, delicate sponge, and creamy rice pudding lifted with lemon confit. A celebration of craftsmanship in both form and flavour, this limited-edition creation will be available from December 1 at Le Jardin, 30 Montaigne.

What if a fine-dining experience began not with a dish, but with the hands that brought its ingredients to life? At @aro.singapore, chef-owner @johanne_siy champions what she calls “Creator’s Cuisine”, a philosophy that places farmers, artisans, and craftspeople at the heart of the story. Rather than being defined by a single cuisine or geography, her cooking draws attention to the people, places, and practices behind each ingredient, bringing their often-overlooked contributions to the table. The result is a deeply personal expression of food that honours not only what we eat, but the communities that make it possible. At @moga.sg, the art of the cocktail begins with a mark of identity. The modern izakaya bar at @pullmansghillstreet enters a new chapter under bar manager @ralph_allen_santos, who brings his experience at award-winning Philippine speakeasy The Spirits Library to an eight-cocktail menu inspired by Hanko, the traditional Japanese personal seal. Drawing on Japanese traditions, seasonal flavours, and contemporary techniques, each creation offers a distinct interpretation of Japan’s drinking culture, balancing heritage with a lighter, more approachable sensibility. From the golden hues of American oak to the rich mahogany tones of European oak, every shade of @the_macallan whisky tells a story shaped by time, nature, and craftsmanship. This philosophy extends beyond the glass in the second edition of 'Master of Colours', as The Macallan partners with acclaimed chefs across Melbourne, Singapore, and Bangkok to explore the art of colour from cask to plate. Just as each whisky develops its natural hue through years of maturation, every ingredient reveals its character through thoughtful sourcing, seasonality, and technique. Together, these two worlds celebrate the beauty of letting nature take its course, with patience and precision bringing depth to every creation.
