Modern Nordic cuisine with a Japanese twist
Restaurant Zén serves modern Nordic cuisine peppered with Japanese influence. Dinner spans a grand house tour, opening with snacks and aperitifs on the first floor along a produce briefing, followed by mains on the second floor, intimately served with tableside theatrics. The meal concludes with petits fours and digestifs on the living room on the top floor. Diners have raved about dishes like French toast “grande tradition” consommé a la truffle and crudo red deer topped with caviar by Zén’s culinary team, led by executive chef Tristin Farmer. Make sure you are not pressed for time as you're likely to spend at least three hours with the affable service staff.
