Cover Dining news: Bakehouse is set to open at the Hong Kong International Airport by the end of 2026

From menu launches and a favourite bakery opening at Hong Kong International Airport to restaurant collaborations, these are the most compelling dining news in Hong Kong this week

This week, Hong Kong’s dining scene is buzzing with activity. Restaurants turn to culinary heritage for inspiration, sharpening their menus with a precision guided by identity and place. Meanwhile, bars prove that connection remains foundational to their beat, where community finds expression through collaborative menus and new pours.

A local char siu eatery finds new ways to innovate within the bounds of traditional technique and two leading chefs share their love for regional coastal cuisines through a one-night-only experience, while a community bar presents drinks that actualise the city we call home with each sip. All this bodes well for those dining out this week. And if you’ve yet to book a table, consider your sign.
