44. The Brewing Ground

The Brewing Ground is a small neighbourhood café in Joo Chiat that aims to inspire a tight-knit community through good food. With hanging plants and glass walls, soak in the good vibes with the signature Brewers Breakfast. It’s a large breakfast platter which includes two eggs in any style, thick cut maple bacon, chicken cheese sausage, hash browns, sautéed spinach and mushrooms, and served with toast, best savoured slowly while catching up with friends.

If not, the crabmeat tagliatelle is a good option as well, swimming in a lemon butter sauce with ikura, garlic, and herbed breadcrumbs. It’s creamy but not overly filling, balanced with the acidity of the lemon and the ocean saltiness of the ikura. Make sure you load up on coffee with a curated bean selection, or go for a Wellness Tea by Apoteacary to warm your stomach after a filling brunch.
