At Fiamma, rustic modernism is the name of the game. The symbiosis of celebrity chef Mauro Colagreco’s vision of honest Italian dining, interiors designed by famed Hong Kong designer André Fu, and the lush surroundings of Capella Singapore, make for a distinctive dining experience. The voluminous menu is adorned with elevated comfort food, and an extensive selection of natural Italian wines. Sustainably sourced seafood such as the crudo di gambero (raw prawn) and pescato del giorno (fish of the day) transports one to the Mediterranean in the peak of summer. Sun-kissed vegetables and herbs bring a vibrant accent to every dish. A pizzaiolo churning out tartufo pizza baked in a wood-fired oven is as close to Naples as one can get. Finish with tiramisu for an unforgettable ending. Fiamma, which means “flame” in Italian, exudes warmth from its custom-built stone hearth.
