Aside from an exciting line-up of 12 world-class bars who will be present for the whole duration of the Hong Kong Cocktail Festival, a rotating programme of guest mixologists will be shaking up a storm at KIN Food Halls. With a whopping 49 cocktails by 18 guest mixologists on offer, there's a kaleidoscope of flavours waiting for you between June 30 and July 3, 2022.

Natalie Lau, London Essence

Having bartended at the American Bar at London's Savoy Hotel as well as at Hong Kong's The Old Man, Natalie is a seasoned hand who now represents British mixer brand London Essence.

Cynthia Wong, Shady Acres & Honky Tonks Tavern

Since 2019, Cynthia has tended bar at The Shady Acres on Peel Street, propelling it to 68th place on this year's 51-100 Best list by Asia's 50 Best Bars.

Taki Li, The St. Regis Bar

A bronze medallist at the 2021 edition of Diageo World Class Hong Kong & Macau, Taki Li is a force to be reckoned with at The St. Regis Hong Kong.

The assistant bar manager at Dr. Fern's, Delphine is also an avid DJ who performs regularly at The Social Den.

A veteran in the bar scene, Gagan is the proprietor of two bars—Tell Camellia and Barcode—while also designing the beverage programme for Zzura.

Alexander Ko, Draftland

As the beverage development manager for Tastings Group, Alexander aids Quinary, Draftland, The Envoy, and Room 309 in creating new and exciting cocktails. He also recently launched Chako, a canned cocktail brand, with group co-founder Antonio Lai.

Birstacla Wong, Penicillin

Having recently moved to Penicillin, Birstacla already has under her belt a special accolade from the Taste Wars Ryukyu 1429 cocktail competition. She's also passionate about tattoo art and fashion design.

Bryan Benitez, Ozone

As head mixologist at The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong's sky-high bar, Bryan has an envious perch from which to make cocktails. His entry for Hennessy's My Way cocktail competition was recently included inn the global top 40 ranking.

Umesh Gurung, Potato Head

Currently the bar manager of Potato Head Hong Kong, Umesh is a veteran of the industry who has won the regional title in the Black Cow Vodka Gold Top Cup competition, as well as being the back-to-back champion of Angostura's Versus battle in 2018 and 2019.

Beckaly Franks, The Pontiac & Quality Goods Club

A native of Portland, Oregon, Beckaly is an unmissable figure in the local bar scene, having opened two epicentres of American-style hospitality: The Pontiac and Quality Goods Club.

Sandeep Hathiramani, Thirsty Shaker

Affable and accommodating, Sandeep is the driving force behind Thirsty Shaker and partner at The Wise King, as well as the father of one adorable Corgi named Archie.

Wing Chan, Perfume Trees Gin

Having worked behind the scenes in the spirits trade as well as behind the bar at Dr. Fern's and Lounge Hakuba, Wing is currently an ambassador for the homegrown Perfume Trees Gin. He is also a WSET 2 holder.

Leo Ko, Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social

Heading the cocktail programme at Cordis Hotel's Alibi is Leo, who has been a steady presence and a proponent of Japanese mixology at the Mong Kok bar for the past decade.

Samuel Kwok, CNY Bar

The former bar manager of Quinary, Samuel recently struck out with the opening of CNY Bar, a cocktail den dedicated to Hong Kong's audiophiles.

Athena Chiu, Lillet

In a more unconventional career arc than most, Athena was a flight attendant for the likes of Emirates, Cathay Pacific and Virgin Atlantic up until last October, when she made the jump to Pernod Ricard to become the brand ambassador for Lillet. She is also a holder of WSET 3 and a French Wine Scholar.

Daniel Eun, OBP.

Hailing from Los Angeles, Daniel is the beverage director for Westside Hospitality, a group which began with 11 Westside and The Wilshire Bar but has since expanded into OBP., Dam:a Noodle Bar, Westside Taqueria, and 1st & Beaudry.

Jade Lau, Pernod Ricard

A whisky and tattoo fanatic, Jade helped to launch the coffee-forward cocktail menu at Doubleshot by Cupping Room. More recently, she has joined Pernod Ricard as the brand ambassador for Chivas and other specialty brands.
