A Tale of Shochu and Awamori

Chandrakant Mohanty, the founder of Mizunara: The Library, unpacks the worlds of shochu and awamori, two categories of indigenous Japanese spirits that are having their moment in the global spotlight. Taste the three main types of shochu, ranging from sweet potato to rice and barley, along with Okinawa's native spirit, awamori; and learn some basic cocktail recipes that you can make at home.
