For the first time ever, Tatler Dining Hong Kong will present the Hong Kong Cocktail Festival, a four-day extravaganza of the finest drinks, food, and entertainment held at KIN Food Halls, an exciting new F&B destination that is aiming to change the food ecosystem of our city. It’s a celebration of the grit, resilience and creativity of Hong Kong's bar and drinks industry, which has endured unprecedented hardships over the course of the past three years. The Hong Kong Cocktail Festival is a natural evolution of Tatler Dining’s line-up of inventive dining and experiences, following on from previous events such as Off Menu, Dim Sum Duets, and The Great Farm Feast. We believe that Hong Kong’s bar scene is one of the most exciting in the world, led by some of the most interesting bartenders and drinks producers working today. We’ve also long dedicated ourselves to promoting local talent and flavours, and the festival is, at its heart, a celebration of cocktail culture that will offer a true taste of Hong Kong in a way that has not been done before.

What's pouring at the Festival?

The Hong Kong Cocktail Festival is a comprehensive look at the city's normally thriving bar scene as it stands during these tempestuous times. 

Participating bars have been chosen for their role in changing the conversation around how we drink, and includes the likes of Argo, Quinary, Darkside, The Aubrey, Mizunara: The Library, Wood Ear, and more. The festival will also feature a rotating lineup of bartenders drawn from across Hong Kong's best drinking establishments, all of whom are making the scene a more exciting place to imbibe in their own way, night in and night out.

On July 3 at 7pm, the live ceremony for the inaugural Tatler Dining Bar Awards will also take place at KIN Food Halls to celebrate the best bars, bartenders, and drink producers in Hong Kong. The awards recognise achievements across a wide range of categories, including best drinks, food, and service, as well as community impact and innovative initiatives that redefine what it means to be a bar in today’s world.

To decipher and immerse attendees in the rapidly shifting world of spirits, the festival will feature a packed schedule of workshops and tasting sessions designed to educate and inform, tantalise and transform everything you thought you knew about craft liquors. From explainers on coffee liqueurs and mezcal, to deep dives into futuristic spirits and even a cocktail omakase, your drinking sensibilities will never be the same again.

An event would not be complete without food, and KIN's groundbreaking food programme—which champions regeneratively grown and local produce in recipes by the likes of Sake Central, DAM:A, and Cookie DPT—will be providing guilt-free and delicious dishes to accompany every drink ordered. All the while, the city's best DJs will be spinning tunes to sustain the liveliness from day to night.
