What is it An interplay of Korean identity and Singaporean experience, South Korean bartender June Baek’s Bom Fizz is a clever reimagination of the Ramos Gin Fizz. The toothsome number features mugwort and toasted sesame, both key ingredients in songpyeon (traditional rice cake), commonly served during Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving).

Combining vodka, ube liqueur, jackfruit, and coconut cream, the sweet and nutty number is a love letter to all ube desserts; and for Besa, it especially reminds of his favourite childhood dessert of Halo-Halo.
