1. GudSht

Neon Bar, GudSht, has partnered with Japanese craft gin Roku Gin to create a unique afternoon tea experience. Prepare your appetite for a delectable spread of sweet and savoury bite-sized gems. From the savoury menu, you have the likes of tender smoked duck breast and wild mushroom quiche; and smoked Norwegian salmon blinis. Desserts are a sweet affair with options such as the refreshing yuzu lemon tart garnished with thyme and gold flakes, and the aromatic rose macaron dressed in dried rose petals and gold dust. Wash these down with the Roku Spring Garden, a fragrant Roku gin-based concoction comprising chrysanthemum, wolfberry and lemon. 2. Bedrock Origin

Bedrock Origin is celebrating the best of beef and seafood from around the world with the return of its ‘The Great Beef & Reef’ series. The second edition sees a lavish six-course dinner tasting menu, which opens with a luxurious A5 Kagoshima Wagyu tartare topped with buttery Kaluga/Schrenckii crossbreed caviar. These whet the appetite for the mains to come, like the wonderfully pan-fried aged grouper with creamy egg white custard and zesty dashi-yuzu sauce; and the woodfire-grilled, nori-wrapped A5 Wagyu satsuma tenderloin. The latter sees the beautifully marbled beef seared, wrapped and grilled with nori, sitting atop creamy eggplant puree. It is finished with beef jus and a fragrant chimichurri sauce. 3. Baker X

Home-based patisserie Egg Sugar Butter has taken up residency at Baker X, offering a variety of sweet creations crafted with French pastry techniques and Japanese influences. Look forward to indulgent treats, like its signature strawberry shortcake. The shortcake has delicate layers of fresh cream, sweet strawberries, and vanilla sponge cake, prepared with kirsch and soft meringue. Other standouts include the refreshing lemon meringue tart, and rich tiramisu infused with dripped coffee and whisky. Available from May 3 to 15.

4. Ippudo

This signature ramen chain is embracing Singapore’s dynamic hawker culture with its latest Hawker Heritage Set. This set is in collaboration with local hawkers, Da Dong Prawn Noodles; Jin Ji Teochew Braised Duck & Kway Chap; and Keng Eng Kee Seafood.
Within the set, savour the hae ramen, a comforting bowl of noodles with a broth comprising a blend of Da Dong’s prawn soup and Ippudo’s signature tonkotsu. It’s complete with Ippudo’s thin noodles, prawns, tamago and fragrant fried garlic. Two sides accompany the noodle dish—lor ark bun, soft and pillowy buns stuffed with Jin Ji’s sliced braised duck; and Ippudo’s crisp karaage chicken dressed in Keng Eng Kee’s bittersweet coffee sauce. 5. Lavo Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar

Lavo has introduced a new a la carte menu featuring plant-based dishes, as part of Marina Bay Sands’ ‘Meatless May’ campaign. Available from now until May 31, revel in meatless lunchtime specials, including Karana lasagna and Good Catch tuna melt sandwich. The former is the restaurant’s take on the classic Italian pasta dish, made with Karana’s plant-based meat made from jackfruit. The latter is a sandwich layered with Good Catch’s plant-based tuna, pepperoncini aioli, and yellow American cheese. Book here.
