1. The Balvenie Twenty-Five
Those looking for exceptional bottles only need to check out The Balvenie’s Rare Marriages range—a collection of whiskies with exquisite flavours, thanks to the use of exceptional rare casks. The Balvenie Twenty-Five is the hero expression crafted by malt master David C. Stewart MBE using “casks that have stood the test of time”. It boasts a distinct profile and experience which Stewart described has a “rich honey and underlying rich oakiness” on the surface. Give it time and the flavours develop to a whole new level—toasted marshmallow, caramelised pear as well as hints of citrus richness and mellow oakiness. Available at selected retailers.
