At the height of his success, mangaka and anime filmmaker, Satoshi Kon suddenly passed away in 2010, at the age of 46. He left behind a short and unfinished body of work, yet remains one of the most influential figures in contemporary Japanese culture.

Now, 10 years after his passing, his family and collaborates discuss his work while his heirs in Japan, France and Hollywood look back on his artist legacy in this movie, Satoshi Kon: The Illusionist.

Limbo is a black-and-white action thriller about rookie policeman Will Ren and his partner, veteran cop Cham Lau. The two are pursuing an obsessive and especially brutal murderer of women. To lure this ripper with a hand fetish, they use the criminal Wong To—who needs to atone for her sins—as bait. But things didn't go as plan and Wong To finds herself falling victim to the serial killer.

This Hong Kong movie received a Best Actor nomination for Gordon Lam at the Asian Film Awards but two home two technical awards: Best Production and Best Sound.

House of Gucci is Ridley Scott and stars Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Selma Hayek and Al Pacino. The movie is inspired by the true story of the family empire behind Italian fashion house, Gucci.

It will span three decades of love, betrayal, revenge and eventually murder by putting the focus on the turbulent marriage and divorce of Patrizia and Maurizio Gucci, the head of the then-head of the fashion house.

One Second is set in China during the Cultural Revolution, following a prisoner who escapes from a labour camp. He risks everything in his search for a stolen fil reel in which his long-lost daughter appears—for only one second. Soon he encounters the thief, an orphaned girl haunted by her own terrible loss.

One Second is beautiful, moving and deeply personal homage to the redemptive power of cinema from Zhang Yimou, 2021 Asian Film Awards Best Actor and three-time Academy Award nominee for Best Foreign Film. In her debut role, actress Liu Haocun also won Best Newcomer at the Asian Film Awards.
