A smoking hot post-credit scene in Eternals with Harry Styles in it pretty much confirmed that the singer-actor will take on the role of Eros

After almost a year of speculation, we finally have official confirmation that Harry Styles will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe and we could not be more thrilled.

The news was confirmed in a post-credits scene at the world premiere screening of Chloé Zhao’s film, Eternals which confirmed that Styles will be taking on the role of Eros who is the brother of Thanos. 

Thanos is the supervillain who starred in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame

In the Marvel comics, Eros, who is also known as Starfox, is an anti-Thanos figure who is carefree and romantic. He has psychic powers and can manipulate people’s emotions.

Eros is also a member of the Eternals which are a group of superheroes that have been tasked with preventing the end of humanity.

Styles’ introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes as the singer attempts to branch out into more acting roles.

Currently, Styles is set to star in Olivia Wilde’s Don't Worry Darling alongside Florence Pugh and Gemma Chan. He is also starring in Michael Grandage’s My Policeman alongside Emma Corrin. 

Marvel’s Eternals will hit theatres on November 5.
