The Oscar-nominated actor goes shirtless to race with a horse and transforms into a centaur in this Burberry campaign

Adam Driver has been picked to star in the new Burberry Hero campaign. Directed by Jonathan Glazer, a seasoned music video filmmaker who has worked with Massive Attack, Jamiroquai and Radiohead, the campaign film shows off the Oscar nominee's lean and toned physique as he runs with a wild horse on the beach.

At the end of the film, it seems that Driver has transformed into a centaur. Read what you will into the imageries, but the press notes state: "The campaign presents a man in search of freedom and personal transformation—no longer held back by preconceptions. An exploration of oneself and a respect for the majesty of the natural world."

Burberry Hero is a new scent for men that evokes strength and sensitivity with its notes of bergamot, juniper, cedarwood from Virginia, the Atlas Mountains and the Himalayas. The bottle is an angular interpretation of a horse's hoof.

Of his first fragrance for Burberry, chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci says that he wanted "Burberry Hero to encapsulate modern masculinity, to play on the essence of primal human and animal instincts, channelling the duality between strength and sensitivity."
