Sincere Fine Watches has been a loyal partner of Franck Muller since 1992, a year after the latter was founded. Their long-standing relationship has now culminated in a 28-piece Vanguard crafted in one of the most resilient metals in the world—Damascus steel.
An ancient material used for sword blades, the Franck Muller version is a combination of two austenitic, non-magnetic stainless steels (316L and 304L), the Damascus steel not only possesses incredible strength, but also produces a distinctive pattern. These stripes reveal themselves through a precise acid bath process.
The Vanguard Damascus Steel Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition was created to celebrate Sincere Fine Watches’ 70th anniversary, and it is part of a special series of limited-edition timepieces that includes creations from H. Moser & Cie., Moritz Grossmann, Laurent Ferrier, and Lang & Heyne.
