To that end, Sincere Fine Watches is reaffirming its commitment with The Horology Lab to cultivate a greater appreciation of watches and watchmaking via curated educational activities.
Designed for seasoned collectors and inquisitive novices, The Horology Lab offers a rich calendar of events from now until November 2024, tailored for an immersive learning experience. It consists of three main pillars: Experiential Atelier, a hands-on workshop where expert watchmakers guide participants through the delicate intricacies of movement assembly and dial decorations; Fireside Chats where industry experts delve into a diverse array of topics, including the evolution of iconic timepieces and the latest horological trends; and a series of lectures exploring intriguing topics such as astronomy, the history of timekeeping, iconic watch designs, and the intricate realm of watch complications.
"We are thrilled to reintroduce The Horology Lab as part of our commitment to cultivate an appreciation for the art of watchmaking,” says Kate Lim, regional general manager of Sincere Watch Limited. “We envision it to be a hub for learning for passionate watch collectors to connect and interact with like-minded individuals, all while delving deep into the remarkable world of watchmaking artistry. It is our firm belief that we can inspire the next generation of horology aficionados and uphold our tradition of distinction through educational initiatives and immersive experiences."

Watch out also for a series of limited-edition timepieces in collaboration with such esteemed watchmakers as Franck Muller, Christiaan van der Klaauw, Czapek & Cie., Fabergé, Ferdinand Berthoud, Lang & Heyne, Laurent Ferrier, Moritz Grossmann, and H. Moser & Cie.
The first Platinum Jubilee Edition watch was launched in May this year with Moritz Grossmann, followed by H. Moser & Cie., Laurent Ferrier, and most recently, Lang & Heyne.
Ong Ban says, "As we approach our 70th year, Sincere embarks on a journey towards a promising future. Our essence extends well beyond retail; we are the storytellers of the narrative behind each timepiece, the educators unravelling the complexities of watchmaking, and the sentinels of timekeeping mastery. This 70th anniversary marks not just a celebration of our enduring heritage and legacy but is also a prologue to the exciting chapters yet to come.”
Today, Sincere Fine Watches operates 20 boutiques across Asia and boasts a portfolio of over 40 prestigious brands. The company's strategic rebranding of Sincere Haute Horlogerie to SHH, along with the launch of four SHH boutiques over two years, demonstrates its commitment to elevating Southeast Asia’s horological landscape by catering to an increase appetite for independent luxury watchmaking.
