The new H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner, available at Cortina Watch, proves that sometimes nice things come in a smaller package
Introduced in 2020, the Streamliner from H. Moser & Cie. is the Schaffhausen manufacture’s take on a luxury sports watch. The distinctive cushion-shaped case is paired with an integrated bracelet for a fluid, aerodynamic design inspired by the 1930s Streamline Moderne architecture. H. Moser & Cie. is retailed at Cortina Watch in Malaysia.
In line with H. Moser & Cie.’s minimalist aesthetic, the dial is clean with the exception of two hands to indicate the hour and the minute. That said, the Streamliner has been interpreted in various forms, from a small second to a chronograph to even a tourbillon.
The model is further distinguished by surprising dial colours and materials. Showcasing H. Moser & Cie.’s singular craftsmanship, colours have ranged from blue to burgundy fumé. The colour gradient has also been matched with frosted texture, as exemplified by the stunning Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic.
The Streamliner has also incorporated a Vantablack dial, one of the world’s blackest materials for an ultra-sleek appearance. Ever the non-conformist, H. Moser & Cie. regularly incorporates this cutting-edge material in its watches.

Having established itself as the brand’s quintessential sports model, the Streamliner now pivots towards elegance, with two new models in the smallest case sizes to date—34mm and 28mm. The shrinking, however, did not mean it had to sacrifice the mechanics, as both models are equipped with self-winding calibres, each with a solid 18k red gold rotor and a minimum power reserve of 60 hours.
The cases are made of steel topped with slightly domed sapphire crystals. The integrated bracelet has been tweaked to fit the slenderest wrist perfectly. It is water-resistant up to 12 ATM or 120m, which means you can swim with it without worry.

The two-hand timepieces highlight only the essential timekeeping—there are no indexes either for an absolutely distraction-free face. The 34mm comes with a silver fumé dial with frosted texture, while the 28mm grabs attention with a striking burgundy fumé dial with frosted texture.
Whichever size you choose, one thing is clear: smaller doesn’t mean compromise. It just means that wearing haute horlogerie is now a lot lighter—and far more refined—on the wrist.
