1. MIND/KIND

The Melium Group's new concept store caters to digital natives. It curates 16 brands from Tokyo, Seoul, Paris, Milan, and Los Angeles that shape and are shaped by online fashion subcultures, with cult status among Gen Z and millennials for its boundary-pushing designs of art, designer collectibles, and fashion pieces for both men and women. MIND/KIND regularly hosts intimate gatherings, complete with a DJ, to help newcomers discover the brands available at their stylish store.

2. CROSSOVER

Founded in 2005, CROSSOVER is one of the earliest streetwear retailers in Malaysia. In the last two decades, it has established itself as a leader in the local scene. Available in multiple locations in Johor and Kuala Lumpur, it is home to 39 brands, including its own eponymous label, and is the go-to destination to find the latest streetwear and lifestyle collections as well as the most exclusive sneaker drops from major international brands.

3. Futuremade Studio

Founded by content creator Tun Way, Futuremade Studio, FTMD. for short, has put itself on the map for its recent collaboration with Reebok. With a distinct aesthetic, it's a streetwear brand with an exciting upward trajectory that you should definitely check out online or in person at its brick and mortar store in The Gasket Alley.

4. Atmos

The famous Japanese streetwear and sneaker boutique from Tokyo has expanded far beyond its original store in the narrow backstreets of Ura-Harajuku. It has more than 30 shops in Japan, with international outlets in New York City, Seoul, Bangkok, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur. Like CROSSOVER, Atmos is one of the few stores that allows Malaysians to get their hands on limited or special editions sneakers from major international brands. It also offers a wide range of sneakers, streetwear and sportswear at their stores in Suria KLCC and Mid Valley Megamall.

5. HYPE Clothing Co.

This homegrown label follows in the footsteps of the people behind the global boom of American streetwear by celebrating the subcultures in Malaysia, from underground skate culture to our growing coffee culture. 6. SneakerLAH

SneakerLAH provides a curated online shopping space with a marketplace allowing the vibrant streetwear community to put their new and used sneakers and streetwear clothing up for sale. 7. Isetan The Japan Store

Isetan dedicates an entire floor to the best streetwear labels from Japan and Malaysia. The space's open layout featuring each store's unique aesthetic makes for an enjoyable shopping experience as you browse through their extensive portfolio of clothing, accessories, watches and more. Make sure to check out the recent collaboration between mastermind Japan and local fashion designer Joe Chia.
