1. Versace Launches the Greca Goddess Bag in Pink

What: An exclusive colour for the Greca Goddess bag

Why: The cult of Versace has added another stylish bag to its arsenal: the Greca Goddess, which was hoisted like a talisman by a goth Lily James in the Italian fashion brand’s recent fall/winter 2022 campaign. 2. Comme des Garçons Unveils Another Converse Sneaker Collaboration

Who: Comme des Garçons

What: The Converse x Play Comme des Garçons One Star sneaker

Why: After offering countless iterations of Chucks, Play Comme des Garçons and is venturing into new footwear territory by taking on another, lesser known Converse classic: the One Star. The basketball kicks, first launched in 1974, now come updated with the red heart logo that became a hallmark of CDG Chucks. Other than that, the shoes and their pared-back design stay true to the original pair. You can cop them in black or white, both equally wearable styles.

3. Issey Miyake Me Launches the Trunk Pleats Bag

4. Silky Miracle Collaborates With Jean-Michel Basquiat

What: A capsule collection inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat

Why: The appeal of Jean-Michel Basquiat’s art has not waned, as this latest collaboration proves. Silky Miracle has incorporated three of the New York artist’s creations—Beat Bop, Popeye has no Pork in his Diet and Equals Pi—onto stylish loungewear sets and cushions. While Basquiat’s graffiti works add a vibrant energy to the limited-edition collection, it is the London luxury label’s signature of exceptional mulberry silk that elevates each piece into a work of art.

5. Saint Laurent Taps Rosé and Hailey Bieber For a New Campaign

Why: With its signature black-and-white photography, Saint Laurent has unveiled its latest campaign, and it’s a star-studded affair. Friends of the brand including Blackpink’s Rosé, Zoë Kravitz and Hailey Bieber all make an appearance, modelling the French fashion brand’s glamorous offerings for its Fall/Winter 2022 collection. On our wishlists? The patent leather Ziggy boots seen on Romeo Beckham, and the Icare maxi shopping bag toted by Bieber.

6. Balenciaga Launches the Lindsay Bag

Who: Balenciaga

What: Lindsay, a new bag style

Why: If you’re getting Le Cagole fatigue, it’s time you met Lindsay, Balenciaga’s newest bag. First appearing in the French fashion brand’s Pre-Fall 2022 collection, Lindsay is marked by its elongated shape, flap closure and a wide buckle belt down the middle. The future It-bag comes in three sizes, with the small version boasting a chain strap instead of a leather one. It’s just the purse to get if you’re looking for something edgy, but not as embellished as the Le Cagole.

7. Loewe Supports a Wildlife Campaign With a Limited-Edition Elephant Bag

Who: Loewe

What: A collaboration with Knot On My Planet, a wildlife conservation campaign

Why: The only basket bag you will need this summer is here, courtesy of Loewe. The Spanish fashion label has unveiled a new Elephant bag, crafted from raffia and beads by artisans from the Kenyan non-profit organisation, Samburu Trust. But the bag goes beyond championing craft traditions; it will also raise money for the Elephant Crisis Fund, via Loewe’s collaboration with the Knot On My Planet initiative. All proceeds from the sale of the bag will be donated to the fund, which aims to put an end to elephant poaching.

8. Kenzo Pays Tribute to a Japanese Art Form in a Capsule Collection

Who: Kenzo

What: A limited-edition capsule collection for Fall/Winter 2022

Why: Nigo’s helm at Kenzo has been marked by an East-meets-West influence, and that couldn’t be more true for his Fall/Winter 2022 collection. This season, the designer has invited master ceramicist Shuji Fujimara to create elegant prints inspired by the traditional Japanese “aka-e” enamel art form. Those prints were then splashed across unisex silhouettes, including hoodies, jackets and shirts, for a limited-edition collection. If your wardrobe is in need of wearable art pieces, this collection will fit right in.

9. Burberry Unveils Virtual Lola Bags on Roblox

Who: Burberry

What: A limited-edition bag collection on Roblox

Why: Online gaming platform Roblox has become an unlikely destination for fashion’s coolest drops. After Gucci moved into its metaverse, Burberry has teamed up with the platform to launch its Lola Bag in unique virtual editions that includes elements like water droplets and butterflies. Roblox users can get their hands on these limited-edition designs, each of which come with an exclusive “emote” for players to express themselves with in the game. We would get one for the novelty—how often do you get to say your designer handbag is made from clouds?

10. Charles & Keith Teams Up With Coco Capitán

Who: Charles & Keith

What: A collaboration with Spanish artist, Coco Capitán

Why: Coco Capitán is no stranger to the fashion world, not since her collaboration with Gucci that saw her handwritten artworks recreated across clothing and accessories. Now, the artist is back with another fashion collaboration, this time with Singapore’s own Charles & Keith. Capitán has added her child-like writing to the brand’s bestselling Perline Penny Loafers, as well as a boxy handbag, resulting in some playful accessories for the everyday.
