Taking cues from the likes of Rihanna and Bella Hadid, the K-pop star revives an It-bag from Dior’s archives
Why follow trends when you can set them? That was probably Yuna’s train of thought as she flaunted a vintage Dior handbag on Instagram this week.
The K-pop star, who is the lead rapper of girl group ITZY, passed over popular Dior handbags of the moment, such as the Saddle Bag, the Lady Dior and their mini iterations that we have seen on the likes of Blackpink singer Jisoo.
Instead, she got her hands on an archival style, likely sourced from a secondhand fashion retailer: the Dior multi pocket shoulder bag.

The hobo bag features leather trims, silver-tone metal hardware (including a plaque with a laser-cut Dior logo), and, of course, several pockets on the exterior of the bag. If all of that screams “2000s fashion” to you, you’re not wrong. The Dior bag was introduced when the French luxury brand was helmed by John Galliano, aka Gen Z’s favourite fashion designer.
Throughout Galliano’s tenure, the Dior multi pocket bag was offered in several iterations, often combining the Diorissimo monogram canvas with a contrasting leather trim.
Yuna’s bag, however, is a more timeless style crafted from grainy black leather with white stitching, seemingly from the Dior Fall/Winter 2006 ready-to-wear collection.
It certainly didn’t look out of place with the rest of her all-black ensemble, comprising an Adidas crop top, a sporty jacket and pair of track pants.
